Branding & logo design

Your brand is more than a logo. As aptly described by Marty Neumeier, a brand is “a person’s gut feeling about your product, service, or company.” This sentiment resonates because humans are inherently emotional and intuitive, often defying rationality. Each individual crafts their own perception of a brand, making it a deeply personal experience. While companies cannot dictate this perception, they can certainly shape it. In essence, a brand is not defined by what you proclaim it to be, but rather by the collective perceptions and sentiments of those who engage with it.

Typically, our logo design process spans about three weeks from start to finish. However, this timeframe may slightly fluctuate based on our current workload, which we’ll communicate upfront before any commitments are made. Additionally, the turnaround time hinges on prompt responses and the number of revisions requested for the final design.

To register a logo or business name as a trademark in Australia, there are several steps involved. For detailed guidance, we’ve written a detailed blog post on this topic. You can read it by clicking here.

In Australia, the default ownership of intellectual property (IP) created by a contractor belongs to the contractor, unless specified otherwise in the contract. Therefore, all IP produced by 45 Degrees® Studio is initially owned by us. However, as a valued client, you are granted the right to use the IP developed for you. If you require ownership of the collateral created for you, kindly inform us before commencement of the project. Please note that there will be associated fees for releasing the final files and transferring copyright.

Effective July 2024, ownership of all logos crafted by 45 Degrees® Studio will be transferred to the respective client.
